Stuff the body and sew head to body.

Sew arms to body.

Sew eyes 4 - 5 sts apart between rnds 7 - 8.

With red embroidery floss, embroider mouth on rnd 9.

Skirt:

Rnd 1: Working in front loops of round 2 of the body and the opening pointed towards you. With blue (skirt color), join with sl st, ch 1, sc in same st, (2 sc in next st, sc in next st) 5 times, 2 sc in next st. (24)

Rnd 2: (Sc in next st, ch 5) around, sl st in first st. Fasten off.

Cap:

Working on back loops only.

Rnd 1: With blue (cap color), ch 2, 6 sc in second chain from hook. (6)

Rnd 2: 2 sc in next st around. (12)

Rnd 3: (Sc in next st, 2 sc in next st) around. (18)

Rnd 4: (Sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st) around. (24)

Rnd 5: (Sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st) around. (30)

Rnd 6: Sc in each st around. (30)

Rnd 7: Sc in each st around, join with sl st in first st, leave long end for sewing. Fasten off. (30)
